This Privacy Policy describes how Care Planning Pro, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Care Planning Pro (the "Service").

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service.

2. Geographic Scope

The Service is intended for individuals located within the United States. We do not target or market the Service outside the United States.

3. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

We may collect additional information you voluntarily provide, as well as information reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and expand the Service.

B. Local Application Content

The Service uses a local-first architecture. Caregiving profiles, notes, schedules, and related content are stored in your browser's local storage and are not stored on our servers.

C. Uploaded Content for AI Processing

If you submit content for AI-assisted features, that content is transmitted securely to our AI processing provider to generate the requested output. We do not store this content in our own databases.

4. How We Use Information

We may use analytics, measurement tools, or similar technologies to understand how users interact with the Service and to improve performance and functionality.

5. AI Processing & Data Handling

When AI features are used, submitted content is processed by a third-party AI provider through commercial API services.

According to the provider's published commercial privacy terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train models by default and may be retained for limited operational, safety, or legal compliance purposes.

We do not control the internal data handling practices of third-party AI providers.

6. HIPAA Disclaimer

Care Planning Pro, LLC is not a Covered Entity or Business Associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The Service is not designed to be HIPAA compliant.

7. Cookies & Analytics

The Service does not currently use advertising cookies.

We currently use privacy-focused analytics tools to collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable information such as page visits, device type, and general location data.

8. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not currently sell or rent your personal information for advertising purposes.

9. Third-Party Providers

We rely on third-party providers for hosting, AI processing, payment processing, analytics, and email delivery.

These providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for their practices or policy changes.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure.

11. Data Retention

We currently retain account and transaction information as necessary for business, tax, and legal purposes.

Currently, locally stored caregiving content remains under your control within your browser.

12. Your Rights

You may request access to or deletion of the limited account data we hold (name, email, purchase history) by contacting us.

13. Future Features & Monetization

We may introduce additional features, monetization models, or service offerings in the future. If material changes affect how we collect, use, or share personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy as described below.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
